My new 10-minute play View from the Porch has been chosen to be part of the Anacostia Playhouse’s New Works Festival, Silenced Voices. This festival includes plays that ponder the themes of displacement and its effect on the residents of Anacostia and neighborhoods East of the River in Washington DC. As residents are displaced, what does a city lose? What voices are at a threat of being silenced today?
