For the past ten years I have had the pleasure of sharing my expertise as a performance artist, youth advocate and community organizer with audiences across the country.

Read my full bio here.

I’ve reached a broad national audience with my work as a journalist, founder of Liberated Muse Arts Group, playwright of several stage productions, including the play Running: AMOK and my work as an educator.

Because of my expansive work in the arts and education communities, I’ve participated in numerous panel discussions, festivals, conferences and the like as a featured guest.  I’ve also done a number of television and radio appearances, including  serving as spokesperson for the Capital Hip Hop Soul Fest and appearing on FOX Freebies w/ Gwen Tolbart on Washington DC’s FOX 5 station.  I’ve made appearances as a speaker/presenter/performer at hundreds of events since 2000, including:

The Mosaic Literary Conference (Bronx, NY)

The International Soul Music Summit (Atlanta, GA)

The BlogHer National Conference (New York, NY)

The Black Age of Comics Convention (Chicago, IL)

The Green Festival (Washington, DC)

Capital Fringe Fest Arts Talk (Washington, DC)
