Agyei Tyehimba is founder of the Harlem Liberation School (HLS), a center committed to empowering Black people with knowledge and skill sets to raise consciousness and leadership capacity in our community. The HLS provides free political education, presentations, grassroots organizing/activism workshops, and creating a space for open and informed political discussion in our neighborhoods. His appearance in DC will give critical guidance on how to start a liberation school and why they are important with a signing of his new book.
